BTW, if anyone has any Corrado / Scirocco seats, or knows of any for sale, give me a shout!

Sweet as fook! Told you to be careful, you're getting like me with your loons  apart from the fact you get the solid ones, very jealous. What a find, looks like it cleaned up a treat

This one ain't massively solid, needs a bit of TLC (Kurust and such..)

Bit more cleaning in the bay today, dark by the time I'd finished again!

Interior has been fumigated, now waiting to recieve some Corrado front seats, would like them in black leather, but the cost of re-trimming seems extortionate to me, might have to find a local seamstress, or learn how to do it myself!

Failing that, leather-look seat covers are pretty cheap...

Note the original stereo, that's staying right there!

Goldie came with her original stereo until i removed it and it got broken, had an accident :-(

That engine bay is cleaner than i have ever got Goldie's  although it is mostly just rust

Corrado seats arrived this morning, got them straight it!

Just need to find someone to re-trim them now!

Yeah they need a bit of tlc. Will look smart with the re-trim though, you getting the rears done too?

I'd love to get them all re-done the same to match the door cards, have to go on a hunt for fabric.

How's Goldie these days?

Not so good, tucked away in a leaking council garage with a major fuel leak from the engine bay, haven't got to the bottom if it yet, and a very bad misfire under load. I've tried fixing her up but i think that engine has had it now, it's done over 170k which isn't much in old polo miles. But i've got your engine to go in, was hoping to put it off until i got all the bodywork sorted but i don't think she can wait that long  Can't wait to get her all sorted and back out on the streets again, going to miss taking her to the shows this year.

Oh and i've had plans for her re-trim too, going to keep the gt front seats and re-trim front and rear seats and door cards too. Might get the carpets done too as the old ones are shabby as were from the scrap yard and have a big burn mark after the incident with the welder
