I've rigged a spare headlamp via jump leads to use whilst working on the driveway at 11pm,only because i was working on it all summer evening,and didnt realise it'd got dark until i literally couldnt see a thing.. TB x

well i fitted merc adaptors an merc wheels to a rado at no-rice and then took it all back off again, using only a widowmaker and my teeth.

i took a starter motor out my 6n in the dark...couldnt find any decent light so had to feel my way round.

all the sound proofings gone , all the unnessasary rackets under the car from munufactor have gone , boot lid stripped to just outer skin , behind all door cards cut bk spare replaced with spacesaver , ;lighter jack , boot internals ground back

^^ Erm,what exactly do you mean by 'boot internals'? And i do hope you dont really intend removing strength from the rear seat backrest,still letting people sit there,where they can recieve increased injuries in the event of an accident.

If you're weakening the crumple zone and support between their spine and the back bumper,i suggest just removing the back seat altogether.

Here's a safer way to save as much weight as you'll cut from the back seat - carry one litre/a pound less fuel in the tank than you currently do.

And if you want a couple more kgs - get a skinny OE 13in alloy spare wheel and stick a budget 135 tyre on it - lighter than a space saver.

cover it in plaster board and smooth it off at the edges, it increases bhp :)
