wooow.

I'm going track spec/fast road when i get one after I've sold my mk1 jetta.

1.4 abd block and head(bottom end re-built awsell as head)

lightened and balanced flywheel

port and polished head

gk inlet

ashley 4-branch

full powerflow straight through and upswept

webber dmtr

race cam

gt box

all stripped out and stripped loom

2 bucket seats

all braced up

ppp subframe

no heater or matrix e.c.t

smoothed bay with relocated coil/battery,washer bottle e.c.t and hidden loom

not sure on colour bay though but it will be matt effect so it makes the engine look extra shiney lol

all the engine will be detailed and look pretty

should be fun i hope...

cheers for the pics I'm inspired

Here is mine, now settled lower, 8 months on, but not very well stanced, hint of reverse rake :-(

Will be sorting the rear arches in the new year and maybe spacing the rears a little.

Its got a PhilJ 80/60 kit with two coils out of the fronts, G-Ladersite adjustable top mounts up front and EZ shims on the rear.

Wheels are Rials 14x6 et33 with 155 55 14 nankangs.

Also considering taking out another coil on the front but will get it a new ticket first.

On a side note anyone know if the front drivetrain can be narrowed to tuck the fronts air cooled style?

Any major scrubbing or driving issues with this setup?

Any major scrubbing or driving issues with this setup?

Drives nicely, bit stiff and hates speed bumps but you can really throw it about.

The camber on the rear is a tad excessive so it gets through tyres.

It catches very slightly on the rear but thats only because i couldnt be bothered to flat fold the arches and settled for the ratchet handle & tyre roll method which leaves the lip bumpy.
