I've had a few looks in mine since my plates been in the windscreen. I'll probably stick mine back on the bumper soon as I don't like attracting that sort of attention!

i ran mine in the window for nearly a year but got caught twice three times i was getting a heavy fine. so thought i stick it on lower grill.

however i doubt you could do that with the intercooler needed as much air flow as possible!lol

no my plate is perfectly legal as its a sticker plate which is forward facing and reflective. you would ave got done cos when your plate is behind the glasss its not fully visable or reflective

Not fully legal mate... the front plate HAS to be INFRONT of the front wheels...

And Wellse... restriction to the intercooler would make a big difference in performance so we can't put it there! (TBH I don't know why you would anyway!? May as well leave it on the original part of the bumper... and take it off for shows etc.

Since I've taken the number plate off and put it in the windscreen I now get looks from every police car driving past where as before i got nothing.

I'm considering putting it back on the bumper as I don't like all the attention from old bill. (plus my gf's dad is a traffic cop and been there for the last 30 years!)

as i say is cos yours is not fully visable or reflective any more thats why. where as mine is.

No! My understanding is that the numberplate has to be infront of the front wheels... So you could stick it to your bonnet as long as it's infront of the front wheels.

You're right in what you're saying about it not being reflective through glass but it's also the positioning which is illegal too. (so i've been told anyway! I'm gonna google it now for the actual law!)
