Well its between paint and power.. and tbh I'm swinging towards power pretty bad.. but then I'm looking at forged internals and so on and so on.. so it wont be a quick thing and dont really wanna take the car of the road for along period of time..

what paint you havin done. i love color of yours wen nick had it. is it stil same??

dude bam engines allready have forge pistons so its just the rods and u can use audi s2 rods doesnt have to be expensive

Wanna get the whole car paint it.. as it has loads of scratches/dents n marks all over it.. so wanna get it painted near original with a few trick mods but want it looking as stock as possible as I'm a big fan of sleepers loool

Ditto. Although it'd probably go on to silly mph with 350bhp i'd say 100 of those horses are being wasted.

I need to speak to a few companies about variable boost controllers cos I think mine would be ok to drive daily with lower boost. I'd like 3 stage, 1 = 160bhp, 2 = 225bhp and 3 = 280+ bhp.

i was thinkin bout somethin similar but just with 225 bhp then full 280 with flick of a switch but i dunno i love it how it is lol

over time I have learnt to put the power down properly with out constant wheel spin..

getting good at launches too but sometimes do still get a lil excited loool..

the power would be great for middle and towards top end.. just not quick enough any more..

Yeah I have learnt that too but i'd just like mine a bit more civilised for everyday driving.

i always found the polo fairly civilised for daily duties when i had one tbh,although wouldve benefitted from a diff to get the full potential from the power available

if I'm honest i never really tried to launch my properly. i find it good for everyday and have done for the year its been in now just so easy to drive everyday

In my eyes it's pulling away as quickly as possible without too much wheel spin and without it bogging down.

So no I haven't dumped the clutch at 4000rpm cos 1) you'll break something and 2) you won't go anywhere... just losts of smoke and burnt rubber!

But I can now get away very quickly without too much wheel spin in the dry.
