for everyone else, the other polo that he is talking about thats for sale for £850 is my old polo that i had the build thread on here about. 1.6 AEE motor on bike carbs + short ratio box + 105hp and 125lb/ft. Was mental fun but i had to sell it on to fund my mini project...

haha what have you done with the front wings, tacked another one over the top by the looks,

i have a set of these carbs at home, on mine, this pipe if you blow into it lifts the slide venturi and the needle to accomodate the fuelling, how does it run with it constantly closed? must be super rich at the bottom or lean as hell up top.

well i rang bogg bros up on the set up, they said nowt bout that pipe on side and it runs a beaut. has been on the carbs since early november.

haha the wings have just been cut and a big v welded in. hows it another set on top lol!!

nah not on the rollers yet. but ye its well quick and runs a beauty!

arches are a custom job. will chuck some pics up of doin the weldin etc.

ye the weldin looks turd but its mint.

well i matched the plate to the gasket then man handled the pipes with some hand skills lol to the oval shape.

I'm not nocking the idea or the ability to do something different I'm all for something new i just dont think it works.now if you widened the doors are rear quarters then you might pull it of you may not but fair play for giving it a go thats what modifyings all about
