at the end of the day, i cant see why everyone is complaining... it was done purely for the protection of everyone on clubpolo.

how?

david.

I find it pretty shoddy that this topic about asking the members their views on it, so as long as those who hav paid you like the idea, so will everyone else?

Members pay for the site hosting, as far as I see, they have more say than anyone else.

do yourself a favour dude and save your one line replies to actually replying to all the MILLION replies people have made about the decision, and not yet again put it down to generating revenue!!!!

it stops scamming little shits from signing up one account or multiple accounts and taking money from hardworking people like yourselves...

like already said, show me how it stops people being scammed, I'm all ears!

It's a 5er, it helps the club, hosting isn't free, organising a show isn't free.

How many club members is there? x5!!

Damn your making a killing

i still see no reason for no minimum post count system

thats different... people have a choice to speed or not.

if scammers cannot access the for sale sections, how can they take our money?

dedface if your on about me being 'one of them' meaning a scammer then why have i been a member of this forum almost 2 years longer than you and yet not had one complaint about me....funny ey ?

I have most probably been on the vw scene for much longer than you. Just because my post count is low doesnt mean I'm a scammer, it just means i dont talk shit or post pointless replies or spam posts.

Maturity level on this forum has dropped enourmously over the years

if its not about revenue and everyone has to join for the site to be any use whatsoever, drop the price. its that simple!

i agree. scammers still may be able to get in but there's gona be a lot more information about on each member than a forum user who has to provide little to non personal info.

if the admins will be more on our side now in terms of helping us then i can't see any problem.

and upkeeping the server and the forums requires a lot of work so fair play to everyone who plays a helping hand.

they can access it for £5 jesus!!!!!

this really does suck!!

only reason I come on here is because I want to buy a polo now I cant even look at whats there

why not get a feedback system like other forums have?

how can i become a member without signing up again as i want to keep the same name

go to the form to become a member and it'll tell you... just enter the same details

i also agree not a great idea, people already complain about not being made 'Club Memebers' surely more people will want to become a club member creating the mods/administrators more work which they cannot deal with???

there isnt going to be anymore information about the scammers!!!

More on your side? to do what tho? delete his account? theres no actionable process that can be done to help!

But it's not like deciding on a new colour for the background, this is somethign that affects everyone on this site and by the looks of things, negatively.

hello scammers!!

Just thought i'd say hi as there probably watching

it helps the club, hosting isn't free, organising a show isn't free.

I thought the £5 was to stop the scamming? You have had people paying a fiver for years for hosting etc

it may not STOP the scammers, but it'll help beat them if we work together.

look how many we pointed out in my post last night!
