i think in future maybe if major decisions are going to be made about the club or forum maybe put a poll out so members can have their say rather than just doing it and getting loads of abuse aftewards.

EDIT: If we cant have trader ratings, access to the classifieds should be based on members length of membership or post count like other forums. Not based on who pays and who doesnt. Edition will do me just fine.

I used to really like this site btw, my opinion may not mean fack all to you but I'm sure others are thinking along the same lines but i cant be bother to read through the last 25 pages.

you can get scammed anywhere these days; people can go through your rubbish and get details and scam you that way. I dont see how locking the classified section on Club Polo is going to change the world. You can just as easily go on Ebay and get scammed!

Top be fair though, it was done in the best intentions. Its just annoying because i'm in the market for a new car at the moment and Club Polo tends to be the first place i look!

For £5 anyone can join, sell something for £20 and not deliver what they say. They have made there money back and £15.

I use a lot of forums and think that the for sale sections are always areas where someone is bound to get stung, or just fall out. My say is these are publically accsessable forums that can be viewed by anyone, and who is to say that someone isnt just going to push there look with a genuine seller?

Surely its a case of better moderation in the first place, or will you be veting all the people who pay £5 to join asking "are you dodgy. Tick Yes or No"

After giving this thread more of a read it seems clear that Panda has had to deal with a lot of shit with no back up from the top. Its good to see you have made the right decision, but you need more support around you. I think you need to sit down with the rest of the admin and have a re-shuffle in the ranks.

I dont use the site as much as i used to, but it seems that panda has to deal with a lot of the shit and i have heard and probably made bad judgments about you. And this isnt fair especially when you haven't been admin for that long. I suggest you sit down with the other admin and have a serious chat. I didnt know about kam until today, but thats because i dont get the time to sit on the forum all day now. Regardless of what i think of him, he is a big loss to the forum.

Maybe we could have a public vote for a new member of admin? There are many active users that i think have a big input to this site since i have been around, so I'm sure there will be plenty of good suggestions.

As a student studying Business computing at unviersity i would like to tell everyone that software for rating people is not whipped up in 5 seconds, other than this, I'm sure everyone on this forum is over 16 and has £5 sitting about, i may even consider joining myself:P

Right going to have my say on the matter.

As most of you will know we have been having quite a few problems with scammers. So we have had to make a change to the for sale/wanted sections to see if that help matters. We can not say 100% it will but untill we try it we will not know.

Now yes this is going to piss off all the forum members but i feel we have a job to look after the forum members MORE as they are paying at the end of the day.

If this does not work there is nothing to say that it will not go back to how it was.
