I'm a bit pissed it got locked in such a smart arse way to be honest. The what I say goes attitude just don't wash, some hardened users have had thier noses put out of joint today.

I've posted it before, there is nothing you can do to stop it, only way is to educate members, stick it in their face in pm's, a little warning message of some kind stating the facts, that few of us made in the previous post.

I've avoided scammers fine, with a little common sense, and thinking, just a bit of thinking

But back to the original point, this change was made to stop scammers right?

Educating people with warnings is all that can be done, thats it, no questions, thats the only answer.

I am not posting to try and look cool or demise anyone, i just want the forum back running...

and what i do like about that massive discussion was the community came together, the pointless banter wasnt as bad as normal, and even walshy was making points lol

I asked for it to be closed just because the whole issue had been resolved, yes it outraged alot of people, me included. But it would of just become one whole argument over somthing that has now returned to how it was this time yesterday. Like chrispy just said, if you have issue's PM him.

I'm sure the intention was good,but it was very short sighted - All the parts and services being offered out there are in our interest,and the change effectively removed most of the goods from the table. You cant expect someone to be a member just so they can offer some rare Ronals they've found in the boot of their Chevette HSR.
