I prefer it without the red tbh, the side looks a bit cuttered imo - trims, stripe, door handle guards etc

and i fibreglassed the aerial hole i cheated

and i just think the car looks abit plain without the bit of colour haha

after reading this, it makes me REALLY want a mk3! ahaha

did u paint the whole wing

and did u paint it with cans or spray gun and alpine white is a solid colour so no ned for clear

Nay - rattle canned it mate, and did the whole thing....... if you do them then then only advice i would give you s rub it all down with 120 gritt first, the spray it and go over it with 1500 pads and you'll get the paint smooth like the rest of the car

j-low - i kind of like the pin stripe, but i dunno yet and mk3's are the bomb

so thought i should polish the other 3 up

took them into work and popped the bead on them and started....

after about a days work i have most of one done

i love the shine that it brings up and decided lacquer is my new enemy

you have no worries neil, not changing the centres

just think the silver wheels look better on the car as you can tell from my choice with the BBS :)

i think if the centres were changed then the polished lip would be too in you face if you get me? and thats not what i'm going for

no air in the tires i popped the beading on them at work to make it easier for me, plus i have new valves to fit
