i've never really thought about this before, one or two, but not ten.

1. Mk2 Polo Coupe S, Wolfsburg built, straight off the production line, no mileage, literally brand new.

2. Peugeot 205Gti 1.6, again fresh out the factory.

3. My dads 1981 Mk1 Scirocco Gti, as is was circa 1995 when my brother took me out in it for its last journey, battered on the outside but would sing all the way to 7k.

4. My Mk2 Polo as it will be in a few years (1.6 16v, throttle bodies, coilovers, ARBs, subframe, cage, 13x7 Wellers/Mattigs with arches to suit)

5. Mk2 Golf Gti 16v as it left the Factory

6. Audi RS6, for commuting

7. Lotus Exige, for when i am fed up of the shabby handling from all the above.

8. Suzuki SJ413, 1.6 Turbo Diesel conversion, jacked up as high as it'll go with huge knobblies

9. Classic Mini, in 1293 Mini Miglia in current FIA race spec

10. Opel Kadett D, with a 2 litre red top up front.
