anyway he needs to catch up with me, i have more wheels than him muhaha!!

Nice wheels, but they won't look right until they're spaced out!

It looks like your gonna need 40mm spacers on the front and back to get them sitting nice :o (judging by second pic)

well had another good day of dubbin in the sunshine!

managed to get more lows on the go today, suprised myself with lowering the car on my own pretty much with a bit of guidance from my other half! went 10mm lower on the front and 20mm on the rear, I've still got a slight rake which i like, finished my center caps too and gave the polo and wheels a wash. I'm very happy with the results, going to order some spacers just to finish off the look! hope u all like it as much as i do, enjoy...

i cudnt be botherd to wash it coz jonny was covering it in filler dust anyway and it still looks good dirty, matches my new sticker :p

one tidy motor right there! :D

Love It Mate

my favourite polo at the moment.just right. i love the new wheels

Needs alot more spacing at the back.

It's also no where near low enough to be running that much tuck!

To get the best out of the skinny wheels, I'd recommend 40mm spacers either side then slam the fuck out of it.

I've got some 25mm spacers cummin for the rear, the 20mm ones will then be put on the front, in my opinion it will sit nice, i dont want to poke a 6j rim coz quite frankly what is the point, I've got my bandies for poke and it will just look shite from behind!

its pleanty low enuf for my daily driving, its a GTI so needs to be driven like one!

i wudnt get it any lower if i ran a 40mm spacer on the rear coz the arch would be sitting on my tyre and scrub like a goodun.

i love black gti's,i was lookin for one but ended up with a silver one

youre's looks ace mate and the spacers make a hughes difference, its got me thinking that i need to space out my wheels now

thanks! i was so glad when i managed to get a 3dr black one and got it for a good price too!

the spacers have made a nice difference, 1st time I've ever used any too, i pick up my 25mm ones on sunday for the rear then i can see what it sits like then.

was going to update my thread yesterday but wanted to leave it until today after spring fest. I've now tidied up the front end abit, I've now added a matt black front badge instead of my cream one and removed my front plate. bought a number plate plinth today so i can cable tie it to the front grill and run my plate for daily use and not get pulled and then cut it off for shows etc. oh and I've now fitted my 25mm spacers to the rear and moved the 20's to the front for a bit less tuck, didnt bother to lower it anymore as I've mashed my flexi pipe on my exhaust allready and its blowing plus i think its pleanty low enough for my daily use and i like it the hight it is too.

few picks of the new look, enjoy Smile
