righty, time for another update, I've had my polo back a few weeks now but just haven't gotten round to taking many new photos, i took a quick one wen i 1st got it back...mmm shiney! I'm even more in love with it now

a few piks from E38, unfortunately i didnt make it to show n shine, a little too much partying went on with a few of the ladz...but i had a fab time!

had a little whoring sesh with my new winters ( Audi Pepperpots) still need to get tyres and adapters but wanted to have a quick measure up so i know what size adaptors to purchase, i used my 20mm and 25mm spacers to help work out what I'm going to need.

1st i tried the front on with a 20mm spacer

looks pretty spot on to me with the 20mm spacer :)

next it was time for a rear, this was with a 25mm spacer

gna need a bit more spacingz i think...

i then tried a 25mm and a 20mm on at the same time

i think its poking just a little too much so tried 2 x 20mm

i think that sits just right, think I'm going to order two sets of 20mm adapters and use either my 20mm or 25mm spacers with the rear adaptors so i can get it just perfect as its hard to tell with no tyres on. as allways comments r welcome, thanks for lookin :)

a well over due update

1st things 1st, this is why i ripped out my dash...

flocked dash :)

also managed to get my pepper pots fitted last week, only just now had time to wash n wax the polo and clean the tyre soap off my wheels n get some happy snaps.

i decided on 165/45/15 tyres and 25mm adapters with a 25mm spacer on the rear as well to fill the arch :)

also got a little telling off by a policeman for not running a front plate, it was gna happen one day.. so as my grill was broken and that was my excuse for not running my plate i decided to order a new grill and make some brakets up and get myself a 3/4 plate made, altho its still not legal, better than nothing in my eyes...:)

Have you got any plans for the rest of the interior? I think the dash looks a bit out of place as it is tbh, but could look really cool if there was more of a theme inside the car

i know what you are saying, i defo agree the door cards etc need to be flocked, its just going to be a mission to keep clean and dry and id have to be careful not to rub it off as it does wear and it is my daily car, i just dont think it will be practicle .

I'm not 100% happy with the dash anyway as there are a few marks in it from the flocking, i spoke to the guy and he has offerd to do the other dash i took out but i think i may just put the normal dash back in and keep the cream parts I've painted.

I'm also thinking of selling the polo late next year so dont want to spend a fortune on it as i need to save for what i want next.
