Anyone else ever have a brake failure?

i was doing around 60...65mph and i pressed my breaks, nothing happend.

i took them off, and put them on harder. and still not a fat lot happend.

i aventualy had to pull my handbrake up to stop me from going over a cross roads and being wiped out or wipe out my mate.

came to a hault on a crass clearing on the edge of a ditch after very neally rolling the car.

Anyone else ever had a brake failure like this?
