Give us a blast of that sub next time your at dubclique or something mate! how you thinking of covering it

nice!

I know of a set of yellow mk4 polo CC door cards in yellow, can enquire further if you want ?

looking good dude

Loooooverly!

Yellow + Black = killer colour scheme. The door cards rich speaks off would finish it off nicely.

That sub looks ridiculous! I want to hear it...

Thanks peeps, i usually give it a blast when I'm at meets or shows but organisers get irrate, Santa Pod marshals can be annoying, snatching peoples keys out of the ignition for playing bass when there's a jet car like 50 metres away....

PM'ed you Richarrrrd ;)

don't call me Richard.. . . . . .

Christopher.

Almost bought an 'arrrrooogaaa' horn for it the other day...

Love this mate, especially the wheels. Where did you say you got them polished again? Somewhere near Birmingham and how much were they?

Is it not possible for you to attain a similar finish by doing them yourself?

Cheers mate, and it was Rainbow Polishing in Oldbury. Cost £100 for all 4 wheels refurbed and polished.

It's alot of work to do by yourself to be fair mate, stripping the paint, fixing and smoothing any kerb damage, then polishing through the grades to get a good finish...

Pure Klas wanted £250 and i'd need to drive to Coventry and back.

Rainbow did them in 5 days.

Don't mean to be rude and don't take this the wrong way but is that their actual price, or did you know someone there because the price is extremely good value!

Basic price for mirror polishing, obviously you'll have to remove the tyres etc but i get that done for peanuts anyway..

My mate had his OZ Turbos dones for £120 being split rims, but basic 1 piece wheels will be 100 for the 4.

Bloody good value..

thats cheap mate, bet there a fooker t keep clean :(

interior looks yum yum! i need some more mulberry leather for door cards or just might do it in the material I've used for door pillars

any idea on getting leather :S?

  • Author

yep they need washing twice a week and sealing regularly, worth it though when you see the shine is shop windows :D

Dunno about the leather man, probably be just as expensive to get matching leather and trimming as getting the seats, might just be worth doing them yourself in something...

Looking good mate,

Was good to see you :-)

I'm fucking dying for another dub, been hunting for a tidy vr6 but theres not many tidy ones around, was quite inspired when you were here smithy if you hadnt noticed.

Shall we lower it this weekend chris?

Yeah man i might sell my steffans for 13s and have it on the floor so i finally have 'stance'

Get 13's? Nah dont do it buddy, you've got to be careful as it may ruin the look of your car (not that that is really possible lol) And i reckon you should cover the sub box with some fluffy yellow material to match the seats. Get it done!
