Defender 200tdi. BIG fun if you have the balls to see what their capable of! Ideal for chucking anything in the back, be it bike, gravel, 6 mates + beer, and also hotboxing :ninja:

I miss mine!

Can't beat getting a car properly muddy. The problem I have I have the balls to see what they can do, I just don't have the common sense not to.

Cue saf's memories of me going offroading in my old blue transit when a road was blocked.

There Is nothing better is there getting covered in S**T i could play in the mud for days and just pop home when my dinner is ready.

There seems to be a fair bit of interest in off roading on this site. Have you ever been to a place could Whaddon www.whaddon4x4mx.co.uk Have a look this is my local place only £20 for the day. Check out you tube vids. I had a 3.9i v8 auto loved it jacked it 2" with 16"insa turbos and some dislocation cones. Great fun rarely got stuck.

Depends what you mean by best? Most fun car or most reliable car.

The most fun car I've had was my Mk3 GT, it wasnt that quick and didnt handle that well but it was just such a hoot to drive.

The most reliable car I've had was my old black valver, I did 25,000 trouble free miles in it! Never missed a beat once, ever, not bad for having 110,000 miles on it when I bought it.

Its those two cars that have made me stick to VW from now on.

Clio 182 Cup...best overall. Handles well, amply quick in a straight line and across country, comfortable and it looks shit hot. It's not without issues though...bit rattly, driving position is compromised and the engine mounts are getting a bit on the soft side...bit like a Mk3 Polo in that it's not perfect but makes up for it with bags of character!

Ahh you clearly werent trying hard enough! I used to get stuck all the time, just pull it out and try again. Plus half of the fun was recovery.

best car i´ve ever owned?

ma current polo,ma current lupo fsi ;)

My GTI...because it's the only car I've owned!

My 911, the sound of the air-cooled flat 6, there is something special about 911's you either hate them or love them, fantastic car really regret ever parting with it, the cheapest to run most reliable car car I have ever owned.

Car5.jpg

most reliable car ever eh?

considering a widdow maker, I could deffinately go for one if the bank are willing to give me a reasonable budget.

Had tons of different cars over the years, best was probably this 68 Charger

chargerrear.jpg

Too friggin big to park anywhere though.

Best financialy was a 98 Fiat Cinquecento sporting, had it five years and it only cost me £2500 including buying it and £240 for a suspension kit, no garage bills though as i work on my own cars.
