ok as I'm ill at home and really really bored, i thought i would resurrect my checklist from last month

Exterior:

Booked in for 2weeks before UD to have a couple of things touched up- roof, splitter respray, mop and polish

Interior:

Everything done except retrim :( will be booked in for late march early april with any luck...

Engine bay:

Finished more or less..

Wheels:

Replace bolts with new shiney rs stainless items :)

finished by next week

oh and a vey subtle boot build finished by next week....all starting to come together :)

i would rock some quilting tbh....robmx on e38 has a lovely trim in his mk3 golf!

that actually looks lush chrispy :)

if i hadnt already chosen my colour scheme, i would probably just retrim my seats in this exact same style. looks lovely.

think this would look very sexy in your car if I'm honest mate!

that will be occurring if and when i need to redo the colour concepts, they are still mint tho tbh so not really a good investment...definitely love the oem look with added quilt stitching!

haha!! exactly that buddy, really low on funds of any kind at the moment, having to pay a deposit for my third year uni house tomorrow as well! :( just so so skint.

but yhhh, retrim will be done end of march april time, picking the colour this week with any luck :)

oh and will have an update coming thursday

same here have 20p left in my overdraft.. but get paid next week ..

I'm having a look at body work done that time.. then interior... got some tasters from a fabric shop.. was looking at like a canvas or something for the headlining but it needs more thought...

wicked... big, small or is it just you winding valve caps on

its not to bad update...half way through my boot build thets say... :)

as for overdraft....i have none left, extended it by £500 3weeks before christmas...all gone now :(

ok updates are finally here...just a little install, pretty much just using what i already had, just making it a little more presentable!

oh and yes the strut brace is colour coded to wheels!lol will be painted before UD

ok thats about it for now. not sure how much further this project will be going...if i do decided to keep it, the retrim will be done after UD. but likely in a boring obvious colour as i might be using these seats in my next project...

have to see really, going to make my mind up after UD. then it will either be retrim, or sell up...just fancy a mk3 golf project
