my interior is now on hault, as i want the outside all done now, the amount of work that is going to happen is silly! including smoothed sills, fuel cap,side strips, side repeaters, even rear bumper seem thingys you pointed out! every panel being repaitned, oh even the recess behind the handles isnt escaping the filler!!

fuel cap yeah u can juss about put you are nails though, so simple but v. efffective make the side looks flush...

but yhhh, I'm looking to get the outside finished for ed38 as well...after my roof next week, I'm saaving for all the work mentioned earlier.

but i also agree, smoothing is'nt always everyones cup of tea, because I've seen so many cars, not just polos, go terribly wrong by going down the smoothing route. but i feel its coming together now, a few more little touches to do, rub strips etc then for me the outside will be finished.

i think the key is to no when to stop, and I've set my limits!lol

lol! the ride height i run and the amount it scrubs i dont think i could handle anything else..for the moment :)

maybe next year i will think of conersions, but for now I've got my hands full with just getting it how i want it, both inside and out.

until i have serious cash, low and slow is what i will be lol

haha i know how you feel mate! I'm always finding little scratches all the time, and I've just about had enough! had my bonnet resprayed only a couple of weeks ago, and already someone or something has scratched it :( but hey, full respray at the end of the month, then its going to be garraged and covered! and if that doesnt stop the marks nothing will!lol

ha! cheers mate. however I'm still not happy with it.

i think its in the 3rd picture down the coilovers hadnt settled at the back and it looks like theres arch gap but i can tell you for certain the tyre is on the arch!lol

but next plan for stance, is to get some 185 on the 8s, giving me a bit more clearance on the inner lip, then drop the nose some more, then just give the rear a cheeky 5mm space, giving it an off set of et15, which i hope should just about do the trick

i think i might put the roof on hold, & sort some arch work, get the rears poked out so i will try the 5s at the same time if you want a little stance sesh? lol

but yhhh a stance sesh is definitely in order, i think i should be able to get a little more drop at the front after this wkend, because dans giving my front arches a bit more of a pull at the same time hes doing my roof :)
