my avatar pic is of my 1962 ford 100e popular ... all the chavs round my area laugh at me when i pull up in it maybe because it is old looking ... thing is, it has a slightly modded XE runing 45's and DTA distributorless ignition with a full LSD and Tran X gearbox ... what a toy lol eats roundabouts for brekkie ... beat my mates g40'd seat ibiza

in the middle of building an all steel XE hoping for 270 bhp from it.

twin 24v V6 engined lupo

This desreves a mention surely. Started as a 1 litre lupo and no has a 24v V6 running the front wheels and one in the boot running the back wheels. The noise is just a pornographic soundtrack and it looks like it goes well too

Built not bought too read the build thread it is nuts the work that has gone into it and the skills of the guy who built it. Only thing that gives it away is the huge wheels used to house the giant yellow porsche brakes :-)

My 'beige beast' project came about as i wanted a turbo polo that A) wasn't a mk3, B) wasn't running a log type manifold or a ko3 C) was as sleeper as could be and D) would show how quick a 1272cc could be...........

to see it on the road doing a 60-90 pull in 4th.

Unfortunately it is no longer a G40 turbo but will be turbo again come the summer, with a twist.............

It was not the 'best sleeper' but it was fun none the less and a good old challange to get everything to fit into a mk2 engine bay and convert it from carb to injection........a mk3 would have been so much easier

Rick my car weighs more and its got 140bhp yours is a red top on 45's no competation really?
