If it's for carrying stuff, why not just get a Thule one and take it off when it's not in use? Why buy an air-cooled style one?

this was it 10 mins before-

And it cost me a tenner, I'll always be able to sell it for more, thats why I bought it.

I really like that - looks like my brother's old car actually...

surprised to see my name mentioned. Nick S' charged 1473, Heg123's AFH rally car and Oddball's mint parade are all pretty inspirational cars.

nothing comes even close to Dogwoods Mk3 race car though, its years ahead of the rest of us.

i think this is cracker wee coupe. love this colour suits the shape and age of the car

Diddnt read the post propperly .

Iff it is turning one way under accelaration i imagine the chassis will be damaged

Best off cutting your losses on what would of been a car that cost below £500

I got my Mk2 polo saloon for £200 ish cant actually remember the exact price :?

Get another Mk2 mate or a Mk3 cheap as chips to insure and cheap as chips to run too 8-)

(Demolovers car is rather cool .. goes quite well too  )

Sorry slack with the reply. Thanks for the nice comments. Truly regret the day this car went.

Was lowered on a H&R cup kit 60 all round. GT engine under the bonnet with chip, stainless four branch, longlife custom straight through exhaust, blah blah blah. Interior was like a new car as if never sat in. Underside you could eat your dinner off. Had uprated bushes and track control arms and all that jazz. Really was a lovely car.

Keep the mk2 and fix it. Or buy another mk2 with less bodywork issues and make the best out of the two and break the remainder.
