I used to have a 1.7 Alfa 33 which was immensly fast especially in the 1st and 2nd gears but the insurance was £200 a month.

So I thought I'd sell that with the option of buying it back later and get something cheaper like a polo for a year to build of my no claims. I have had 2 polos prior to this one.

I'm selling my polo in november when I get 1 years no claims and 2 years driving, looking at a p reg 3.2 sport XJ6 - insurance comes to £1200 for the year fully comp

the alfa sounds nice

before i got my polo i had a leon cupra very fast but cost a lot to run and the insurance was a lot too

I have a Golf as my work vehicle and it's feels like a fat Polo.

Panda 100HP is cool as! Made even better by the fact magazines like EVO rate it as a mini 'hero' car, go for it!

After selling my first polo I bought this:

Killed it by putting those alloys on it - it wrecked the suspension broke one of the front springs and also snapped the ribbon in the steering wheel. Oh also had to have new steering rack and would of needed a new column if I kept it.

Then bought this - after it messing me about for so long bought this:

187,000 miles but runs like a dream :)

So that was:

MK4 polo (sold)

Corsa (sold)

MK3 polo (for sale)

Astra

And I've only had my licence for 2 1/2 years!!

i was the same with the leon cupra 20vt i only had it for 2/3 months and it was sooooooooooooooo boring to drive unless you put your foot down

i've still got the mk2 polo coupe at the moment

but i'm now driving a pug 405 glx td estate

and i'm think about getting a Volvo 850 T5 estate

yer the leon cupra 20vt i had was just boring to drive . yes it was fast i had 130mph out if it but it was still boring

the mk2 polo was fun but slow very slow

i think i'm going to get some think rwd or 4wd

S3 or R32 maybe but still ibiza cupra r's are going pretty cheap if you can find one and if its got decent milage
