what D FUCK U ON BOUT DICK ED.......only joking mate haha cheers for comments. ye i get mardi when people cant have a laugh. i put stuff as a joke and people take it the wrong way. might be fast but I've seen loads on here that could easily beat it in my opinion. a few s3's, some 1.8t's. ill have to get a turbo before i try and race them ha.

Quick one for you here:

Bloke walks into a pet shop and puts a bomb on counter and says "EVERYONES GOT 30 SECONDS TO GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE THIS F.UCKER BLOWS"....a tortoise at the back says "You C.unt"

welcome back, cars coming on well, and must admit i prefer the new you lol. you'll probably get a lot more helpful answers now mate

i cant help but think that this car is going to be a handling fail ;)

You'll be surprised...

Handle's remarkable well consider all that weight up front.

I know somebody close by that has a VR6 Polo... Love it! :-)

What is it with people and the impression some extra weight is going to destroy handling?

Storm Developments fitted an R36 into a Mk2 Golf G60 and the difference in weight between engines is 35kg - hardly the end of the world is it?

it looks to be all oming together nicely now tbf

beeecause on the internet that extra 0.00000341 of a second makes all the difference making a drag race off the lights when racing a 1.6 8v polo

yeah but the difference in weight between a 1.4 8v or whatever it was and a vr6 is gonna be a bit more than 35kg??

i dont believe my bad luck run at minute. this should have been finished and on the road a month ago but still it stays garaged. as with all projects this has over run the time and cost margin by a long shot. my bad luck: got new starter on, got master cylinder on and bled clutch + brakes up, should have been the last things of the project but then i try yet again to start it and i just get a buzzing noise from dash, a relay clicking its nackers off, rev counter going balistic and oil light flashing. got to be a bad earth or a live touching earth or something. just annoying when you want to get out and about in it. grolsch

nice project love what u have dune this looks the bisnis.... I'm would like to do this in the future.. and how long did this take u to do by your self?..... and did u have 2 get custom drive shaftes made? once agen looks sweet mate

because they read it on the Internet so it MUST be true, you can't lie on the Internet!!! ;)

it's not going to exactly help the handling but it'll still be reet.

i haven't done it by my self mate. I've just helped my mate do it, hes the one with the big brains ha and the welding skills. its took 6 months to finish but there was no more than 1 day a week spent on it. yeah custom driveshaft on one side mate, the other was bang on as it was.

so witch drive shafts did you use then? cos if your using the polo 1s thay wont hold that power

20 year old mate, and insurance is a 1.3l. fuck em ha. until i get it took off me then ill be gutted ha. i see it like this, i could get insured on it as a 2.8, then insure every modification on the car, pay about £3500, probarbly more, then they'll come out to assess it and find I've got the wrong flavour air freshener in the car that wasnt fitted as factory specified and it will be void anyway so fuck em. ill pay my £800 for year and hope a get a good bobby than isnt power driven. is there any?

and here comes the MOUNTAIN of stick you're gonna get for saying its only a 1.3 on the books :/

Your an idiot for not insuring it as a VR

Polomon is right, don't be a sillymon and insure it properly. Or if you can't afford it keep it till you can or sell it.
