give him a chance to finish it hes only just put the wheels on and thats the only change so far think u lot are taking it abit to seriously its only a mk4 polo which was in a pretty poor state to start with

car before  car now  sorry mate but fail

the paint was fucked on it before! he says hes getting it painted. also its a work in progress so obviously it will look  just now

right i gotta clarify myself a bit with my "ruining" comment

its my opinion that the whole botch a bit of metal to a rolled arch to fit a stupidly wide wheel which doesnt look good is ruining a perfectly good car...ok so the paint was cracked and yes i agree, those rsl's are fooked...glad i didnt buy them!! I've seen polo's with 9s on the back and they haven't resorted to welding metal on, i just think the idea sounds botched and will look dodgy..

as youve stated, its a W.I.P and its your car..you can do what you like to it, but if your gonna put it up on here, then expect criticism (sp) good or bad

as for saying its only a mk4 polo, personally i love my polo and i thought the whole point of this site was to appreciate all things polo's, if you dont appreciate it then dont buy one!!

rant over

was this polo simo's old car..

well i did say i was doing stuff you must have missed it.

I'm not going to put any more pics up naw till have i finched it as you lot have not got much imagination

expect criticism (sp) good or bad

Not good! :crybaby:

That rim is past it though. The work required to sort that out outweighs the cost of a new one.

depends if you have a mate that can sort that kinda thing for nothing :unibrow:

besides the cost of getting them wellers to fit a car properly then getting it repainted after all the arch work would outweigh the cost of getting some wheels that actually fit right. that was the way i looked at it any way, i'm sure this car will look spot on when finished and it will be his own rather than just some car that some one else built, and if that caddy he was in when we swapped wheels is any thing to go by this car will be fat as fuck, that thing kinda made me wish i had pushed for an abortion when the misses told me she was pregnant

o god the FBI are out naw lol

Stick with the wheels if that what ou wanna do though man, with decent arch work it should look sick.....

Looks mean.

you still got the rsl's?

i'll give you 50 notes and a milkyway for them?

was this polo simo's old car..

yeah it was i got it off him, i sold it to this guy. i dont think it was chavy before at all, and you can thank the curbing to it being first car think i must of done it all in the first week or something stupid like that. i personally like what he's done with it, love the new wheels. paint job was shite on it, looked alright at night however ;) i miss it, would of liked to turn it around for myself but i just lost intrest and money in it. i couldnt stand how slow it was!

keep the orange! obv. if the paint is shite, then respray, but do it orange.

i know ill get some haters for saying this, but fek it....

wasnt there some dude on here breaking his purkle coloured polo with a wide arch kit? iirc it didnt look too bad.
