to be honest, it wasnt to my taste when you got it, and the stuff you have done so far isnt either. But its up to you and it is a WIP, so i will watch and see what happens.

I presume you are not driving aroundin the car as it stands now? Cos you might as well go directly to the poo-lice and ask them to give you a ticket rolling on them wheels.

I know that sometimes a WIP takes a while, but nothing worse than a car thats half done... i.e big wheels and different color panels and bits hanging off it! Stick the steelies on til you got the arches done.

yeah it was i got it off him, i sold it to this guy. i dont think it was chavy before at all, and you can thank the curbing to it being first car think i must of done it all in the first week or something stupid like that. i personally like what he's done with it, love the new wheels. paint job was shite on it, looked alright at night however i miss it, would of liked to turn it around for myself but i just lost intrest and money in it. i couldnt stand how slow it was!

Bet you regret selling it now Tom don't you lol?

Especially after the rather big incident with the Golf he bought after he got rid of the Polo.

right i gotta clarify myself a bit with my "ruining" comment

its my opinion that the whole botch a bit of metal to a rolled arch to fit a stupidly wide wheel which doesnt look good is ruining a perfectly good car...ok so the paint was cracked and yes i agree, those rsl's are fooked...glad i didnt buy them!! I've seen polo's with 9s on the back and they haven't resorted to welding metal on, i just think the idea sounds botched and will look dodgy..

as youve stated, its a W.I.P and its your car..you can do what you like to it, but if your gonna put it up on here, then expect criticism (sp) good or bad

as for saying its only a mk4 polo, personally i love my polo and i thought the whole point of this site was to appreciate all things polo's, if you dont appreciate it then dont buy one!!

it looked mint before! all it needed was some new back light new plates maybe change the zorst, but tbh them wheels are gash! get it back to how it was with them changes and the plans dont look up to much.

I gotta admit Tom, I loved your car when you had it obviously the paint job was gashy but it was only recognisable from the back and close up.

The amount of times I looked at them wheels too and never noticed the kerbing on them lol!

I love the crazy wide wellers. If you can get them to fit right it will look awesome. I didnt really like it before.

i think it COULD be sexy if done properly... id love an orange polo, if its done well then would be the center of attention at the shows, just respray it in orange if the quality..the grey will look gash imo!

i love low and wide polos...thats what its all about :)

yeah, they were quite bad. do miss the car however. well i just miss having A car at the moment.
