Featured Replies

well.. i wouldnt take off the power steering.. you feel quite a lot even with that system!

smaller wheels are cooler though, especially if they are covered in suede

Comfort ..

my old polo didnt have pas. seemed to have more feel than with pas, but was about 700 turns lock to lock! other option i was thinkin of was a quicker ratio steering rack, with or without pas would give better feel as there would be less mechanical advantage or what ever its called! lol

Look better, feel better, makes people go :o when they see the 280mm momo wheel

i'm personally a hater of airbags and infact all driver aids - traction control, esp, abs, p/s etc etc.

one of my mates has a scarred nose and cheeks from an airbag, another has a massive burn on his forearm. another wrote his astra off after clipping a curb and the airbag activated - blew his hands off the wheel and sent him sideways into a lamp post!

with mikeys comment, people feel they are too safe, all these things to help people with poor vehicle control stay on the road, surrounded by a mile of plastic trim airbags from every angle and drive like they can't get hurt.

gone are the days with manual everything, basic cars where 100mph felt like 100mph and you drove accordingly because 100mph was FAST and you knew you weren't invincible!

thats whats fun about the older cars

so where do you get the momo team steering wheels from the only place i can find them is ebay and they're about £135.

It means much more space behind the wheels for your legs aswell, i fitted my 300mm to the corrado today and it has completely changed it. It now feels how i was hoping it always would...
