lol yeah, its a quick car at 270bhp. But its so effortless it doesnt feel fast! Unless your up against something boosting around is just boring lol.

Get some pics up matey be good to see another red GTI on here. I'd kill for some leather seats, been looking on ebay and other VW forums but they are all a bit worn for my liking

I was thinking of getting rid for a new toy but have decided to keep it in the end aswell as get a new car. What plans you got for yours then?

I've just installed a engine start button today, tis awesome! :) and i intend to buy a full stainless steel exhaust system, BMC induction kit, coilovers, refurbish my original BBS wheels (maybe paint them gloss black?) debadge the front grill and smooth over the back

I have a BMC on route, should have it by the new year. I have heard nothing but good praise for the BMC kits. I take it your GTI is suffering the usual corrosion and laquer peel, mine need doing but I have plans for summer Liking the idea of gloss black BBS though...black and red are a good combo I think.

I thought you might think that, its clean inside though :) I cleaned it properly when i first got it with T-Cut to get some of the scratches out and ho help the red colour come back and it was immense!

Aha no its not wrong at all, they are quality cars :) I wouldnt want anything else for my age

I wouldnt use T-cut mate its a bit too harsh for my liking. Something like Menzerna cutting polish is better, or even Autoglymn super resin polish gets you good results. Although you will have more noticable results with the menzerna stuff with a machine polisher.
