shoddy build and the electrics will fry every thursday, fact. add that to a sloppy gearbox and dodgy suspension and you'll die before the end of the month

fiesta STs are shite. for 2 litre 16v with 5 people in they struggle to hit 110mph. me a my mate were wasted by a bog standard 8v golf mk2 gti in his ST. he was severely embarrassed

pug 205 gtis and MI16s are rapid, but they again suffer from dog shit build quality and serious overheating. plus you've got the problem of a torsion beam at the rear with all the weight at the front which means you'll end up backwards into that nice oak tree.

A mk2 Gti or corrado is a good choice obviously.

and i did more them 3k in 2months in it

plus it didn't cost that much to insure

i very much doubt your insurane will be as low as you think once you've passed, even with 1ync you'd still be a new driver trying to insure some thing quick. Insuring a car on a provisional is so cheap because you have an experianced driver sat next to you. I'd get some quotes before putting too much thought in to buying any of the cars mentioned
