Buy a G and spend stupid K's would be a good place to start or go for higher MK polo's is the only way

You're being very naive if you think you can get into PVW with a MK2 polo unless you have thousands of pounds to spend on doing it up and getting the "look" they are after, which is what I call "scene" and before you all start to pounce, that's my opinion an view on the matter so suck my dick haha

PVW is gay anyway so unless you have 5k (which chance are you dont as you own a polo) because that what you would need to get into a mag, it would have to be a MINTER to start with unless you want to pay a body shop 2k to making it as good as factory! then put in on air or some bollox to make it 'different' then would have to be on 1k + wheels (rare as fook I'm talking Proper rare not ebay 'rare') for them to even notice you on the radar then you would need a half decent engine maybe G40 turbo upward running/looking perfect even then they would prob go 'its still only a polo'

so save your money by all means mod your car have fun with it make it look how you want it too look not how PVW want it too look and tbh IF you'd spend silly money on it you'd prob still have someone drive into you on the way too your 1st show!

failing that if you have silly money laying around buy a new rocco put it on air and bbs splits make it a Bi-turbo and your onto a winner

wall its going to be done over 2/3 years so i'm going to spend all my spare money on the polo

and the plan is to tack it to paynes body technik www.paynesbodytechnik.co.uk it was supposed to be going in to them for some work any way

I'm sure I'll get a load of people disagreeing but if you fill a magazine with cheap project cars it won't be something people aspire to.

But if you fill it with full on big budget builds everyone moans that the feature cars are out of their price range.

Mags should provide inspiration to other people - it's not necessarily that you'll be after a car to copy but you'll see bits and pieces on different cars that'll give you ideas for your own project.

I think most magazines will try to give a combination of big budget cars and affordable ones, to keep it mixed up, and PVW is no different.

Put simply, magazines are a business. Businesses have to make money. To make money, a magazine has to sell. So you have to fill it with the cars people want to read about. Doesn't always mean big budget stuff, but they do have to be interesting to read about or people won't buy it.

Edit: And 1600 on a cupra, i struggled to get my TPFT insurance on my 1.2 punto, 17, under my own name, for less than 2k.. Managed to get it to 1800 in the end?

so what happens when your driving more i.e when you have your licence also means some times your by your self so no one to go

and the leon cupra was insured in my name with 1 years NCB and i was 20 when i got it so that probably helped
