Anyone else hate this?

i live in an area thats populated by about 15 council estates in the surrounding area so you always get a little billy-boy and his entire crew in his chavved up vauxhall saxo :p thats why when they start trying to give me shit for driving at sensible speeds i merely look at them with an evil grin on my face, and then casually reach under my seat and pull out my polo wheel spanner and wave... generally does the trick.

another pet hate is all these people with there main beams on constantly at night, i get mr taxidriver sitting about 10mm off of my boot lid on a single carriageway so i just keep tapping my foot on the brake, then slow down till about 10mph...drive for a bit, wait for the attempted overtake and then repeat the process :D

thats how i roll 8-)

Roads around here are shit! Some are really really narrow, they are the worst when you meet someone in a bigger, newer (therefore better in the owners opinion) 4x4, they therefore decided its their right of way......i just give in tbh, too scared of bumping the car/scratching anything

i had someone the other day in a national speed limit area doing 35mph, i got to a safe place to overtake the car as i know the road well and over took imo in a perfectly acceptable way i then conctinued on my journey, when the speed limit dropped to 30 i slowed right down as its a residential area and the old man i have just overtaken comes flying up my backside!!!!! where is the sense in that 35 in a 60 and was trying to go faster in a 30!!!!!!! i continued to play a little game me and my mate play when such things happen "how slow can you go" i stuck to a steady 15mph

I get so annoyed at times i have to stop and have 5 minutes or i'll end up pushing them off the road! Got close many a time.

Taxi drivers - very true. Blast about at double the limit, pull over without indicating and generally think the highway code doesn't apply to them.

I hate the coffin dodgers who do a constant 40 everywhere, even through a 30. I overtook one guy one night and when i came into a 30, slowed down. He sat right behind me so i anchored up and watched him swerve like a mofo to avoid me. if they get too close behind the G, a quick blip of the loud pedal with the clutch in and wait for the exhaust to pop black shit all over the front of the car. Even more priceless if the cars just been cleaned

The worst driver round where i live are the police. No indicators, speeding, sitting 2mm from your bumper at night to try make you go faster so they can pull you....had this many a tim, so one day, going from a national to a 30, slammed the brakes on at the very last second, 5 seconds later on come the blues....

Taxi drivers are a very close 2nd...tailgating, no indicating, no acknowledgement of your presence. I wonder how some of them manage to get the job in the first place...

i once saw a cop car with its lights on go flying up a busy main road, pull in half way up and go into the sandwich shop... so yeah, cops do drive like wankers!

I'm a delivery driver and I deliver around the s.e incl london and the storys I could tell you of incompetence, ignorance and just damn right rudeness would make your eyes water! I've even seen a woman breast-feeding in stop/start traffic before! The two types that really get my goat are middle-lane drivers (which generally tend to be women) and cocks on their phones

Rules of road presence:

Transit > 4x4

the ones that piss me off most of the time are those dam buses. Just pull away from a bus stop with out looking, Happens to me all the time in the car and on the motorbiek. i'll be level with them as i'm going round and they just pull out right next to me. grrrr!!!!!!!!!

oh yeah and people not indicating really annoys me as well.

Bus drivers piss me off aswell, beacause they CAN barge out- my little polo has no chance against the fuck off Stagecoach. and Then they pull over again about 23metres up the road (bit precise wasn't it lol!) so i just give them the evils and the V's.

I was in lincoln tother day, and you know how at some roundabouts with lights, you can see the reflection of the other directions trffic lights, so when theres goes red, you get on biting point etc, then yours goes orange, and you go...

Well. i saw a taxi that night, the other direction went red, i let the handbrake off roll forward a metre or so and no joke, before our lights had gone orange, this taxi was atleast 30m away- straight through a red light no care in the world. Same roundabout later on, i saw 2 other cars do exacltly the same thing!!!

Its just people with private number plates i find!

Had a brand new passat estate race me the other day back to louth, probably a 2.0tdi, laughing my tits off, i had the 60horses screaming under my bonnet and he could not touch me round the corners. He went into a different lane at the next roundabout, so we just gave each other the lad look- you know how it is, saw he was about 40, he saw i was 17 and i just wet myself. All because he thinks his fucking company car private plate wagon was better than mine. Prick.

Rant over... next person :-D

not quite a new company car though lol

Whether i let them through or not depends on whether its safer for them to proceed or if its safer for me to.

Being polite for the hell of it is downright dangerous because it confuses people, and you dont know what other dangers there are for people you invite out with a flash of your headlights.

A wave is nice, but it doesn't have to be literally - seen a few drivers, all women actually, and usually quite tiny ones,go to wave very quickly and then slap their little hand back on the wheel, like letting go of it for more than 1/8th of a second is gonna see them crash or something..

Then there are the finger lifters. I'm one of these. No need to lift half your hand, just lift your index finger up,keeping the other three resting on the top of the rim. 8-)

Then there's those who wave at night - like I'm supposed to be able to see you do so,behind your bloody xenons :retard:

And even those who dont wave can have some hardcore categorization:

Those who're just plain ignorant aren't worth a thought :|

And those who feel a bit awkward - you can see they're trying to pretend to be watching what they're doing instead, checking the rear view mirror, looking at the dash, hell anything to avoid eye contact! :smoke:

You want to try some of the single track Shire roads!!!!

Some of the stuck up arrogant tw*ts around here really GRIND MY GEARS!!!!!!!!!!

Why should I have to get up the side & scratch my 5??????

MEH!!!!

Pisses me off when this happens and you meet a range rover and the bloke insist's my slammed polo will be better off in the bush on the verge than his 4X4 Argh :(

I go to uni in Shropshire and some of the country roads are pretty bad. It's always bloody middle aged women in their 4x4s who clearly think they're better than everyone else and drive straight down the middle of the lane, I had to put my poor polo up the bank at a 45 degree angle once before because the stupid tart didn't even slow down.
