@septic : if the number plate recess is smoothed then is that legal as it would have no where to put a number plate , dont u need a front and back number plate ?

Yeah its not legal. You only get a £30 fine for it though as compared to the rear where the cops can dock points off your license.

I've been lucky so far.

ah thats not to bad then , i personally agree with you , i like the vents and how yours looks is loads better than what most people do :)
