Cut my MDF to shape today for my Boot Build, Anychance you can post pictures of a frame if you made one ?

nah no frame, just sat on the body work as such with the kinda struts at the front holding it up

Ok did a little more on the amp wiring today,

Still got to Secure the earth, Extend the remote cable and attach the inline fuse and cable to battery,

So some questions i ask you, How are you setting about securing the earth and wher abouts, (i want to copy :p

Also Where are you securing you inline fuse ???

still not sure yet mate, I'm still awaiting delievery of my amp

then when i get that ill get a wiring kit, I've got a couple of mates that will come and help, they know alot more about wiring up then i do, but i found this yesterday not sure if youve seen it or not

ye it was really mate, when you shut the boot it rattles and vibrates so the filler will crack any filler on the boot is always going to be an issue really so you try to reduce it as much as possible.

If you can see if you can get it welded up and a light skim of filler

i'm no expert... but... i doubt little bits of filler that big are at any risk of cracking... with big bits like debadging the rear and filling the recess then fair enough, it's something to watch out for... but little holes i doubt will crack... they have a tiny surface area so vibrations will dissapate over them very quickly.

Nice one, are you going to carpet you boot build area, and struts etc

yeah it will be carpetted, hopefully if i can find the same colour as the blue carpet already in there, and haven't really given struts a thought tbh

thanks, i used to work a van livery company and took a few 'free' samples. then just took a photo of my polo badge and changed it into black text on photoshop, printed it out, stuck it on the vinyl then cut it out, job done.

theres a guy on here thats got a vinyl cutter and quoted me about £4 i thnk, then i found these lying about in my house and did

it myself. oorrr you can buy like a whole huge roll on ebay for about £5 if you fancy doing it yourself
