My friends have all said to say 'mirror' under your breath (but loud enough to be heard) every time you check. both hands on the wheel, try to remain calm even if youve been cut up like a fish finger wandering through moss side.

just remember is not a race, do it at your own pace, along as you know what your doing you will be fine, make checking of mirrors etc very clear that your doing it so instructor picks up on it. good luck
