Really quite sad to do this, but i can't afford it anymore :( wanting a MK3 polo gt, MK2 coupe s or a Caddy (mk1/mk2). This car is great fun to drive in town and sounds awesome, pretty nippy up to about 50! just as a mini should be.

Good points:

RC40 cat back side exit (good, proper engine sound)

Minilite alloys

Brand New Rear Spax Adjustable Shockers, fitted last week

New cooling system with new rad+water pump+silicon bottom hose (about £150 worth)

Original Half Leather Seats with no damage

Moto-Lita John Cooper Signiture Steering wheel (worth £150 new) and cooper gear knob.

Twin Spots

New Silicone Leads, Dizzy cap, rotor arm and spark plugs in january

Oil Changed twice in 9 months.

Tyres have been sealed to stop slow air leaks (common issue with minilites)

New Rear brake shoes and bled about 10 days ago.

New alternator in December and fan belt.

Used as a daily driver at the moment so it is reliable enough!

Recon offside radius arm fitted last week.

Lots and lots of receipts for just about any repair made

Bad points:

Rust, quite a bit, needs both a panels, basically a new front end, this will majke it a great looking mini, if you're after perfect though, will require new sills (has pop sills am, will get thru MOT but best to change as these are just going to cause worse rust), and the rear floor needs welding however, onceagain, not the boot floor so will pass MOT and rear quarters.

Blue Smoke on startup due to vale seals corroded, no smoke wilst driving, minimal oil loss.

Rear Subframe requires attention, wheel rubs against side of arch as the camber is off.

Little trouble when running in the damp (like any other mini!) but easily resolved by a spray of WD40 where required.
