dude me and Rolo' off here chopped my standard springs in half and ran stazndard shocks, handled like a go kart.

lasted all the way until i blew it up, like 6 months. nothing wrong with them, just jubilee clip the bottom of the springs to the seat of the shocker and you will be fine..

and you'll find that the people who say something won't work more than likely haven't tried it

Pretty sure u need compressors as they do get under a lot of tension, you don't want them springing like fuck into your face!

epic fail for just getting springs though, if you're gonna do a job you should at least do it properly. especially when it comes to a labour-intensive job like fitting springs.

1. take suspension/springs off

2. cut a coil or however many you want off using a grinder

3. make sure the same amount is taken off each side

4. the spring needs to still seat properly so don't take off too much

5. put back on strut, fasten to seat with cable ties, jubilee clips etc

6. do the same with the top hat bit

7. put rubber top mount back on

8. put back it all back on the car

9. enjoy!
