Are these tents actually waterproof?

The PE groundsheet is waterproof up to 5000mm

So just the bottom is but when it rains it soaks through?

the outer shell will be waterproof, the botem needs to be more waterproof so that when it rains hard and soaks into the ground you will still be all dry in your tent

So the answer was yes Dirrt, they are water proof

but what ever you feel like doing in there they might not be waterproof from the inside out!

just chuck a matress in the middle of the feild you'll be fine haha

Oh and in response to the question about being waterproof. The 2000 bit describing the flysheet material is for a 2000mm hydrostatic head. Anything over 1500mm is considered fully waterproof so yeah, it'll keep the rain out.

basically toms got a mate that is making us up a couple of rear badges made from carbon fibre hopefully, then he will start to move onto other things but its his dads business and hes making it on left over carbon if u get what i mean

got a feeling a shit loada those camo tents will be about lol good times!
