Do you mean the check strap for the door which holds it open at certain ponts??

The bonnet is in good codition i think. a bit dusty where its been sitting in the garage. I will check it and get back to you

can you take a photo f the bit you need??

That is more that like the part bud , there r to bolt though it one at the top and one at the bottom , undo them and it comes away from the box with the selector rods still connected to it , then there r two metal clips inside it , u just push them from around the part there connected to and it all comes apart , should leave u will that part loose ( nothing attached to it bud ) ill get a picture up asap for u tho . its for my m8 so have to get it tomorrow . thanx again for all your help bud . Thanx dude , in the second pic there is a bolt where my thumb is and one where u can c it has snap at the top of it , then it should come away from the box . thanx again u have been very help full . Dave
