look for andy1.4 on here with his storm grey valver me and him both went racin down the a458 i got just over 115 he was going strong at 120 summt

Fair enough tho in all fairness i dont actually care Just didnt think a 1.4 8v was actually that fast....

My car will do 115 on the clock but on the tomtom was reading 109/110 + it hated it flet like it was gonna brake so i slowed down.

So now i dont do

Yer mine will do 120+ on the clock, but its on 175/50/13's so I'm actually only doing 70

u need proper wheels po low , reckon a 1.4 8v with minor mods is good for arund 120 top end but sit happy just under a 100 about 4 n a half k revs

is the vid of when i filmed my clocks stil on here sumwhere ?

A 1.4 8v will hate doing 120 will sound like a bag of shit.

And i love my little polo and I'm not putin the poor little car thow it if i do over 100 its only for a short time

Ok a bit of an exageration but its about 15mph out top end i reckon, satnav says its 10mph out at 80 on clocks.... and a 1.4 8v will really really hate 120!

Mine keeps up (just) with my mates 16v, his has just a pipercross and straight through centre....mine has everything bar cam

And back to the original question, 16v's piss on 8v's so i reckon a gt would. Standard would beat it, lightly modded would poon it!

16vs dont rev and if u are going fast u cant change gear or you are box wil explode

Nah not gona lie iv never driven one, but spend a lot of time in my mates It sounds awesome and pulls hard as fook! Will piss all over an 8v any day of the week
