what happened?

he was the founder of 'hoodride' (not the style just the name) and used it to rip off half of the dubbing community, proper shame too because that site had some thing really going for it and some of the photos on there were truly amazing.

just to add Derick didn't invent the look, that had been happening long before he turned up he just came up with a catchy name for it...

No, he came up with the catchy name for the style when he debuted this bug:

The forum and name really caught on and was going great.....then he abused the fact he'd created something good and ripped a load of people off :(

As with every style, there are people that call their own car something that it isnt but lets not get into that debate again
