Roxy's back

You missed this Gaz :-p

Got it fixed in under 24 hours, all back to normal now, it was the alternator! Only thing I've picked up on now is oil light and battery light flash on turn over and then go off again, and she never used to do that

Need to get a new water pump too because that's on it's way out, is that an easy fit?

may as well do the cam belt same time.

Already been done, had it done when the head was done few weeks ago!

I saw that you'd fixed it, you just didn't seem to want to tell anyone what was up with it! :p

Oil light flashing on turnover is ok, it only goes out when the pressure is high enough.

Changing the waterpump is the same as changing the cambelt pretty much. You have to drain the coolant, take the belt off, remove the rear cambelt cover (that the water pump bolts through) Remove the pump, fit the new pump. Replace the belt, tension using the water pump. Refill with coolant & bleed the system.
