Not really true, the cleaned/Euro look started on the continent (hence Euro look) where it was applied to all sorts of different cars, not just VWs. It's just that over here the VW scene were quicker to adopt it than anyone else.

THe VAG scene has undoubtedly been the driving force behind the success of Euro styling. I'm not saying we created the scene, just that we augmented it to its current status.

the previous ones mention at pod crap I've been to at least 3 of them, instead of having them so spread out might as well have one big one so everyone attends or you get small turn outs at each one

I think VW's take to the Euro look so well because of how easy it is to modify them (easy to lower, easy to get wheels) and its easy to make them look alright! And this is thanks to the clean cut styling VW have always had?
