The fly by wire throttle leaves little to be desired I must admit. And I don't understand why... the fly by wire in my mum's impreza has a great feel to it. That's the only niggle though, and is more than made up for by the excellent driving position :)

The new 500's are awesome cars! Its probably the only fiat you would see me spending my money on! when I saw the abarth on topgear it was love at 1st sight tbf. amazing car!

bear in mind, he has owned a leon cupra and prefers the polo! cupraNet must be full of tards

i dunno what it was about the leon cupra but it used to heart my right leg when i drove it

but saying that i do miss the car and i wish i never sold it some time

but the plans i've got the the polo will make it a much better can then the cupra

and the brakes and the clutch steering on the bravo there's no feed back at all in that car

the sporty 500 is probably better

The 500 Sport has a 'sport' button which increases the throttle response and decreases the power steering effort, supposedly giving a bit more feel. Not sure how much actual difference it makes at the moment but it's supposed to give it that extra little bit of responsiveness it's missing as standard.

There's an easy way to tell if you're driving a girls car,and its never happened to my knowledge in my Polo. But it happened often in my Fiat Seicento.

What happens,is blokes get along side you and look over at you - then realise you're male and quickly look away.

This is a cute car,and id have to go with that when modifying one. There's no good fitting 16s,racing stripes etc because it'll just look pretentiously misguided. You've got to work with the designers.

What you need are Herbie Monte Carlo style wheels (banded white steels with inset original 500 chrome centre cover) and chrome bumpers - with overriders. Reduced front spoiler - get a front valance on there,some small chrome door mirrors,black fabric roof..

White was definately the colour to have,too. Though sky/baby blue would be nice too.

I think that they're alright cars
