That one up there isn't! It's a 75bhp single choke iron block monstrosity The Euro rallyes were but they looked like this:

and they were all LHD.

Thats fit as hell, my polos just broke and requires a lot of fixing...i owned a 205 before and realising i can get insured on a 1.9 - I HAVE OFFICIALLY CAUGHT THE 205 BUG/PUGLOL AGAIN!!!! :)

the mk2/3 polo coupe and 205 are like cousins

love the pug mate but if it were me i'd of gone for the 309 but i think thats just my booty lovin showing through lol. my stepdad had a few 205 GTI's's and a 309 GTI years back, real cool cars but watch for cracking on the exhaust manifold, its a common fault on them apparently. the only thing i didn't like about the 205 was how small they feel inside, driving it was like waring a powerful wet suit

xcore my mums moving house soon and theres a few random bits and bobs lying around from her ex's pug days if you want them? spare set of clocks, throttle body and what looks like an air flo meter, few other bits that i think may be off one (like a down pipe). they'll probably be going to the tip if not.

i had a 1.6 gti when i was younger and it was ten times the car my 8v golf is!

my bird recently bought an ax gti and when i drove it it reminded me of the 205 but with less go......superb cars to drive.....just a pity they are french

want a mk3 16v golf or tidy mk2 16v, this is to much of a classic to modify i think.

tempted by a punto gt though, it maybe a fiat but its got a turbo!

these may technically be better than a golf, but the reliability isnt a patch on an Mk2 8v Gti, they drop like flies on trackdays compared to our golf.

i'd love one, but only when it works.
