And Spent 4 Hour's With Some overpriced Motorworld ALloy Cleaner/protector ect .. omg 50quid.. also got some anti theft wheel nuts , :) and have recently been covering all the engine in lube rdy for this weekend ! lol

aye next weekend engine /brakes/ssuspension is all going in :) oh and the exhuast system ill get pics..

Ok this is progress its now droped 80 / 60 ! new front brakes unfourtuntly we cudnt put the rear's on as they were wrong size , engine is slowly comming along , i sorted out my rear lights , i have all the pieces for the exhuast but is not going on untill engine is sorted 100% , we also fitted a new headunit , and did some cleaning , shout out to cumbriaVAG Scott/steff/hazel/stu/saxo brett/and andy , thanks for the help! hope u enjoy the pics comments welcome just dont put " go lower " its not settled and i can adjust when it is..

The stance now will go lower on the back by quite alot when i have my new wheels on , should hopefully be going to windermere auto tuesday or wednesday for tires :) ,

and the rear lights in!!

p.s does anyone know what kind of engines i can fit in here , people that actually know 100% ie g40 gt ect just wnna know what power i can get thnx in advance

ok today i took of my wing mirror's and my wipers , sanded back , undercoated and resprayed vw black , ill put pics up tomoz as its gone dark on me

Ok quick update ..

Tyres Orderd and in post

Engine - Now running!!!!!!!!!.. needing 3 parts and is all good ( waterpump/timing belt/and a nasty exspensive seal from vw) .. also been spraying all the cover's ect..

Interior- just been in discussion's with a local chair upholsterer, retrimming the front corrado seats and rear bench to match the door cards..

Brakes - just need front bigger caliper's connecting , brake fluid is leaking from somewere so that needs to be sorted. also rear's have to go on.

oh and the best part from recently... hearing the sound of a car thats stood some 12years with 30k on the clock starting! :)

i will put pics but dfnt get a day off till sunday.

in answer to your engine question i have almost finished a AFH into my mk3 loon which has gone quite well with relative ease, its on bike carbs so eliminates a lot of the wiring, you will already have points in the dizzy so wont need to worry about electronic ignition, your onto a winner with the afh conversion, a cheap alternative to the G40 route, i picked up a complete 6n 16v with tax and test for 400 quid, stripped it and sold the parts and more or less got my money back.

i also didnt buy a manifold from bogg brothers, i cut up the original 16v inlet and made my own. no ally welding needed just patience and a hacksaw!

loon looks really clean, i was searching your car for rust where mine has it, and yours in spotless, great base car, with the best grill option.
