Interesting work on the clutch, why not go for a full pedal box and loose the master cylinder/servo in the engine bay too 8-)

Truly inspirational work mate all top notch!

Nice one on the hydraulic clutch. Did you use parts bin bits, or was it a kit from Demon Thieves?

I remember Marshall sticking a kit on his turbo'd G40 a few years ago and it made a heavy paddle clutch and uprated pressure plate a piece of piss to live with. Also stops the pedal box bending and clutch cables snapping/stretching or pulling through the clutch arm fork on the gearbox.

loving this have you got any recent pictures of the outside with side skirts on :)

Fantastic work throughout, the attention to detail and quality is top notch. Amazing!

The reason behind this move is due to the fact of noise - i love how the eaton drives and how it whacks your power in but i dont want to wear ear defenders! so my next move it move the throttle to before the charger and remove this noise. should give me a power increase due to the fact i can fit whatever size throttle body i like:-)and i can fit a conventional dump valve instead of the violent whoosh i currently get - progress to be forthcoming on this.

each to their own i guess  when will we see this in the flesh? polo show?

and when will that be what shows will it going to be going to

NNOOOOooooooo

Cannot come this far to then stop.

Whats up with it?

Stick with it dude! Seriously, this is amazing and shows so much potenial when completed.

If you're short on funds perhaps the manufacture of some hydro clutch kits could it through ;)

Joking aside, please don't stop now

It would be a proper shame if this don't get finished but if the love has gone then no amount of positive sounding posts from us lot are gonna change that.

What I will say tho is I'm in the same kind of situation as you with the mk2 (albeit on a much smaller scale), its been properly getting me down and I was so close to giving up on it today I had a for sale add wrote out and ready to post but I thought I'd give it one last try at sorting out the problem. After some imputed from max that lead to a new line of thinking and a new spout of googling I think I've now sussed it now and I've got a shit load of enthusiasm ready to get on it when I get back from work.

Guess my point is it only takes one little thing and it an all fall back into place again, if your gonna break it try and be as sure as you can that that is way you want to do and that its not just a dose of car induced depression taking over

If you need a hand with any thing or just fancy going for a pint to take your mind off it a bit give me a shout mate
