I like to think I know abit about cars, but id love to have the knowledge and skill you have. I was amazed at the polo show how you mounted the intercooler and the enginering you have used to do so!!

Sorry to hi jack Kiz, Winston was your sirocco at Tatton this year ?

Love how the skirts turned out on this, why have you kept the arch spats though? Not tempted to chop up some arch trim and cc them? Glad you got it sorted and to some shows.

Yes it was dude 8-)

Well - thanks to Mclovin - i made it to edition38...my luck seams to be getting worse!

No need to thank me mate, it was a pleasure to work on it and I was just happy to see you finally buzzing off it after the test drive 8-)

Sorry I missed your call on the morning of players but I was fucking hanging, I was still pissed when I dragged my arse out of bed about 12

Are you hitting gti fest next month? There's a club stand being organized in the show section

I kept the arch spats as i wanted the lil trim type ones - I've made my own on one side as they never came in a pair in this country-ones longer then the other. i didnt want the clutter of the G40 kit - + i have flared my archs front and back so it wont fit anyway. the hours wet flatting paid off...but i think I'm going to repaint them as I'm not happy

cheers guys.

its so nice to be able to just get in it and drive about turning heads. missed it so much. i have so much extra time now its great:-) i was putting in about 20+ hours every week

started stripping apart my parts for the 1W so il have a new build thread soon:-) this one il keep much more updated then this as i actually have the spare time now.

I tip my cap to you sir. Just everything to the highest standard and a completely original one off car. The parts used and the work put in you can be safe in the knowledge that no one else out ther is going to be trying to replicate this thing :-)

Well done and can't wait to see it in the metal.

Yes i will be at GTI festival.

Just a quick addition, not wanting to advertise the fact to much so I'm keeping this to my thread, with all my spare time i have now gained i will be taking on work.

so if theres anything you have always fancied yet never had the balls/capability to do metalwork wise then i may be your man.

I have a few bootlids and panels which I'm currently working on for example

A mk3 coupe tailgate with a mk6 golf badge/bootswitch in it.

i can do frenching, badge relocation, vents etc etc and can provide the panels in primer or painted to match

Enquires through pm where my email address will be given out as I'm not posting it up on here.

also can do bodywork repairs and fabrication to things such as pedal boxes which have snapped, battery tray rot and the usual. i can travel if the job is small or can be left with the car if large.

hit me with your requests, and be rest assured my work is top notch

The car speaks for itself when you say that kiz 8-)

Take it you have space/equipment to paint Kiz?

i have limited space, but panels are not a problem, i painted my side skirts hrs before the poloshow. my interior and enginebay were all painted in my garage aswell as primering the whole car.

it all depends on whats wanted. i have a few whacky ideas which I'm going to be starting soon and put up for sale when they are done- they will come primered unless the buyer pays me to spray it to match

i now want a mk3 just for a set of those rear lights. lol where they from ?

can get them from germany i have a set on my mk3 polo but there very pricey

i bet! well worth it though they look awesome

i bought them off this forum 4 years ago for £25, its one of the most asked questions about the car- and one i know the least about- i dont know who makes them or where to get them from hahahaha
