i haven't settled in my mind if I'm doing it or not. its a plan me and guy have discussed for years now- il probably start afresh on a new chassis and make it a true sleeper!

I'm hitting this as hard as i can at the moment to have it done for GTI, but i think i will run out of time for the mot:-(

Hitting it hard is a fucking understatement

Really is coming together so nicely now tho

Best of luck Kiz

well - it wont be ready for GTI as i ran out of time - but a lot of the donkey work has been done now - so its just a good reassembly process, need to sort out what I'm doing with regards to my header tank - more then likely revert back to an linline version like i had on the eaton which made it alright to the poloshow.

colour coded the gearbox:-)

Theres still a bit still to do on it - the motor isnt very clean having been sat covered in sanding dust for 3months - so the shine isnt there on that at the minute - should get the front end reassembled with the motor completed this saturday so hopefully il have some good photos to post up before sunday:-)

'the motor isnt very clean'

LOL mannn, i wish mine was in a position for me to worry about the cleanlyness of my engine! haha

Oooft kiz! That gearbox is fucking A. How did you get such a good finish on that? Bay is a nice contrast too. More top work. Surely cleaning up this year in the trophy department. Fuck Golfs bought by posers, THIS is modding!

That's fucking amazing man. Fair play.

Is it cream or white? Can't tell on my phone. Looks cream. Mezzin.

It's white tabious, you know my thoughts on it kiz

This is epic Kiz, the car was pretty immaculate before, this is just next level, top work my man 8-)

I remember you saying to me at edition last year .. I've only washed the car 3 times or something ..

I can see why, after every show you change it haha .. Looks better than ever though mate (Y)

Top work as always Kiz...how come you chose white?

Any plans for the cast exhaust manifold to tidy it up like? :)

cheers chaps:-)

i stripped, sanded and then shot blasted the gearbox, then 1k etch primer- high build- flatted and then basecoat and laquar.

I've hot some heat wrap to put round the fanimold and I'm going to make a turbo heatshield to neaten that up

Solid water lines from the turbo required 8-)

Colour choise looks top- slight blue to it?

Looking good mate!

Fantastic work as always kiz  :-D
