Dude, Char mentioned to me there was nufty Mark3s in Looms. They should be a good source for some of the odds and sods you require :-).

Gasket for TB to inlet is still available new from VW for £1.26 or something daft. Got one for Ad along with his waterpump, etc.

I've got both coil bolts, don't need them for the MK2 ignition... Yours if u want um bro.

you need any carb bits? got a fuel pump, throttle cable, throttle pedal adaptor, choke cable, relay and wiring for the pump etc, could work out a deal if you wanted to get shot of some of your injection goodies?

Seen them on the kitchen side last night, and he was working on it over the weekend, so I assume thats a yes .

I aint got a great deal left tbh, most went with the GT engine.

Interested in the highlighted items though ;)

You need a standard throttle cable? Mines of no use to me.

I'll have a dig around and see if i can find anything on your list.

  • Author

Hmmm

2011-04-23155829.jpg

beast =) why is your rad cowling chopped up so much?

ting is gonna fly when it's done man, proper jelly of the boostage

This will look savage if you have boost pipes sticking out of the front

Looking good though bro

  • Author

Cheers dudes.

Rad cowling was podercoated last year but needed hacking to squeeze the 16v's custom 4 branch ( as it was made with provisions for the charger.)

Been so much easier working in the bay with an 8v lump!

The turbo conversion bits are going to go on this( so I can run.in the blue mk2s freshly rebuilt lump with a good map), so I dont want to hack the front up too much in case it all needs to be relocated.

Once I sell the mk3 g or 6n2 I can get my charger rebuild kits ordered, also need to get a chip copying tool so I can copy a friends turbo map.

Well looking forward to some summer peril fun!

Race you at action ;)

So it makes me wanna buy a G engine

Stanford hall bro... i wanna see this there ;)

Oh just bagged a mk2 charger to intercooler pipe for a song, it was hiding in someones garage over on ed38. Happy days and a proper sound geezer

But ill def race you haha
