no idea what time of year tbh, hopefully as soon as theres some dry weather, so fingers crossed for spring timeish, our lads always go up august time, so maybe then, but theres no reason no to do 2 trips! really really wanna hit some swiss alpine roads, as they were so stunning last year!

and yeah its always too far away to decide on anything concrete, i struggle to decide what I'm doing in 2 weeks, let alone 8 months =P

Mk3 any fuel lines, in tank pump, accumulator, fuel filter and from an nz gt or g fuel pump - in line

Throttle cables diff cant remember which polo model u need, think its late spec mk2

Splicing a couple of connections for mk3 coil n fuel pumps

Its a good bit more graft puttin it in a mk2 or 1 over the mk3 it came out off. Finding a suitble intercooler was the toughest bit! I lucked across one with thanks to peteg40

Couple of pics from Tatton park a couple of days after returning back from our holiday.

The trip had taken its toll on the old girl, so it got a bit of tlc this weekend.

Fitted a new lambda, fuel pump and supercharger.

Also remounted the alternator as it had come loose, the bracket id used before wasnt really suitable so after a bit of fettling I've now managed to get the belt properly tensioned and have full boost again! Woohoo!

Also replaced the stage 3 subframe with a stage2 one with gladersiete blocks, as the stage 3 is going on the turbo.

Got some 195/40s coming for the front too woop!

Just need to get the battery tray welded up and then I can get a few bits etch primed and get the car into the bodyshop for a lick of paint!

Win! I love this car, still need a trip in it though

On a side note, I think I had just been snapped whilst I was panicking about where my phone was, the facial expression and hand placement would seem to suggest that anyway .

Yeah it was Matt!

And Slim, erm it was sweet! Performed like it did on any other road :-) was only runnin 8 psi boost at the time but still gave it bastard and the 256mm stoppers helped on some of the dirty corners and massive downhill sections on the other side! Would have been better without 3 people, a mountain of stuff and Sonars on the front but enjoyable all the same. Its hard to convey just the sheer awesomeness of turning a corner and seeing that road in front of you.

We found some cracking mountain passes last year in Slovenia that I want to go back to as they were empty so make fine rally stages!
