That should last you for awhile,There a good company just dnt go putting the gain right up and youll be fine

yes you can use a SLIGHTLY less powerful amplifier but the original suggestion was running a 200rms amp

Lol well suppose you would no a lot more than me but am positive that with the correct gain control etc with an underpowerd amp you would be fine.I have mine underpower and has been running for years nw.

my highest certified (official spl)scores over the years were

155.8 db with one 15 and 7k of power

162.6db with 2 18's 9 banks of 18 volt batteries and 16k of power

168.1 db with 2 15's and 20k of power

177.6db with my little monster

no i needed to make a choice betwen spending thousands of pounds on stereo gear or splitting with the wife as she was fed up with it

Rockford run 12 DVC twin 2ohm 12s and 24 1500w (1 for each voicecoil) monoblocks and never had a problem.

When i have a system in, it'll be 1 DVC twin 2ohm sub and a 3000w monoblock.
