Throw on a carbon fibre bonnet, orange front indicators, and a carbon fibre front splitter and id say it would be as close to JDM style as I've ever seen a VW get.

That boot is a nice touch though, and i love those wheels on anything. Works quite well. Nice ride.

The carbon won't be happening just yet but Orange front Indicators wired up as running lights and orange side repeaters are.

Orange running lights would look sick to be fair.

Love that deep navy shine, cream interior ftw!

I like this, those wheels always look good, as uncle terry said. I like the idea of bringing a bit of Jap into it, a splash of carbon here and there would definitely go some towards making the look.

As said before though, the term JDM does not stem from modding at all, and is completely misused all the time!

i was wondering why he was running steels at the last sovag meet :)

like the car always so bloody clean aswell :)

o and also what is f6 hates you or sumthin? i just dont get it lol

why has everyone got so argumentative?! Who cares what style it is!! Fat wheels, spotless bodywork and mad stance...what more can you want!

yer but theres a blue mk4 golf at sovag and i think they like that yet theres a sticker on that lol ;\

i is guna have a ganders on a map bound to be near me as most of em go to sovag i think :)

F6 is just a bunch of my mates including myself no different to any other car group in the world. We like to have a laugh and never take anything including ourselves to seriously. Take a look at:

www.itsalmosttime.co.uk might answer a few questions! As for the F6 its a grid reference to coventry where the crew started!

o ok nice one i get it now sounds like a laugh :)

just never understood the stickers when looking round your cars lol

Well I also don't care what style it is either. I think some of the touches are exactly what you would see on a Cleaned/JDM car, it had JDM style rims, Japanese No. Plate recess, its very glossy and the headlights are the sort of design that you'd expect if this car was 'cleaned' in Japan. I think that japanese no. plates for shows, a front mounted intercooler, a carbon bonnet and any satin black items painted in gloss black would certainly make this car JDM inspired.

Personally though I think that it looks sweet, possibly one of my favorite MK4s of all time.

Full on sick

just think the rear plate is to big

Very Nice! That looks the tits!!

very tidy, i like it

JDM is using jap spec parts on cars. doesnt have to be a jap car to do this. so using the jap spec bootlid and some jap market wheels makes it JDM imo

this is more JDM than most civics out there that claim anything they do to their car is JDM....

'yeah mate, got some angel eyes! JDM cause its a civic, init'

'FUCK OFF' :D

i get what you mean tho guys! car looks ace!

EDIT: i'd look into putting orange indicators on it tho, quite a big JDM thing. just an idea

2nd EDIT: just read it properally... noticed something about orange indicators. i fail. fact :D

I'm not going to wax lyrical about what's JDM and what's not, but for those on the Jap scene, JDM is usually fitting JDM parts to make your car look like it was imported (or if it was imported from japland, then it's automatically JDM)

Get a jap style number plate (letter and number group at the top, letter group at the bottom) on the rear to fill the number plate hole properly and then it'll maybe look like that. Using the pressed metal numberplate makes it look wrong

If I was going to make a JDM Polo, I'd start by replacing the engine with something japanese (4A-GE or something boosted) and then going for a Bozo look

Other than that, it looks like a nice car

awesome mk4!

among the best on here!

Really like this, saw it at Spring Fest, wanted to make an offer on these wheels but couldnt find the fella anywhere..

Yep

knowone forces you to use clubpolo.

knowone forces you to use clubpolo.

I enjoy looking at polo's as i like the smaller car in comparison to the golf and i would be unable to insure a golf and or pay for the modifications i would desire ..

Just a shame that the site has become full of either big heads who can be seen as being harsh and or people who really dont have a clue what they are talking about ..

I will still use the site as will others its just a shame that it isnt friendly ..

i like this, good to see summat different coming along

i salute you :-)
